Sting, the Sword of Frodo

Sting, the Sword of Frodo True blue fans of the Lord of the Rings trilogy can only be too familiar of who Frodo Baggins is – the hobbit who offered to journey to the tip of Mount Doom to personally bring the Ring and throw it into the fires of the mount to finally destroy it. Frodo inherited the Ring from Bilbo Baggins, who chose the former as his adoptive heir. But the Ring was not the only thing that Frodo inherited from his guardian, because it was also Bilbo who gave the hobbit the Sting, the sword of Frodo, used to protect the hobbit in his dangerous journey.

And now United Cutlery brings a high quality replica of the very prop that was used by the character of Frodo in the movie. The Sting was said to have been forged by elves, where there are runes engraved on the blade and cross guard which reads: Meagnas aen estar nin dagnir in yngyl im, which means “Maegnas is my name, I am the spider’s bane.”

This officially licensed 420 J2 stainless steel sword also comes with a certificate of authenticity as well as a wooden display plaque. This item is the perfect present for the Lord of the Rings weapons collector.
